T1V's Interactive Map is a great way to creatively inform users on geographically-based content. The map displays color-coded pins representing different categories on a large, multiuser touchscreen. You can zoom in and out using standard pinch-zoom gestures and filter pins through a map legend. Tap directly on a pin to open additional information such as scrollable text, images, or videos.
Here are six ways customers are using T1V's Interactive Map:
1. Showcase Projects/Locations
Corporations are transforming their lobbies into a functional learning center where guests can learn about company achievements, projects, locations and more. Fluor, for example, welcomes visitors to its U.S. Corporate Headquarters in Texas with an Interactive Map running on a 15 foot Interactive Wall, where visitors can explore Fluor project locations through text, images, and videos.
2. Information Center
Another purpose the Interactive Map can serve is as an information center or travel guide. You can highlight places of interest, recommend travel itineraries, include transportation information and more.
3. Real Estate Maps
Architect and Design firms along with real estate agencies often use Interactive Maps to explore floor plans and blueprints. They can also be used to showcase project sites or available lots.
4. Community-based Initiatives
The Interactive Map can communicate educational, environmental, or other community needs including local events and non-profit organizations, shelters, etc. If your company is involved in the community, using an Interactive Map is a great way to showase your organization's involvement, and to highlight events of past and present.
5. Cultural Landmarks
Inform visitors about places with historical and/or cultural significance including historical sites, museums, art galleries, University lectures, and more.
6. Upcoming Events
We're seeing many customers - especially in the tradeshow industry - use Interactive Map as a way to communicate upcoming events. Companies such as Cook Medical transport their Interactive Maps from show to show to keep visitors informed of the next big event and provide opportunities to register.
The Interactive Map is a powerful tool companies across the globe are using to communicate geo-based information both internally and externally. Learn more about T1V's Interactive Map and other interactive software by downloading the T1V Product Guide.
