One of the first questions we get asked by executives and retailers who have experienced our interactive technology is - “Can I afford this?” If you're asking this question, you've come to the right place. In short, yes – we offer a range of products and features designed for everyone from independent startups to global retailers. Whether you are looking for an Interactive Wall to infom visitors, BYOD (bring your own device) software to facilitate meetings and brainstorming sessions, or an Interactive touchscreen Table to assist your omnichannel retail strategy, we have a solution for you. We use three key factors to determine our pricing: Hardware, Software, and Volume.
HARDWARE
Hardware is the physical piece of the touchscreen and, in the case of T1V's interative solutions, may also include the enclosure and/or integration for the touchscreen. Here are several components that impact pricing:
Horizontal vs. Vertical
In layman’s terms, do you want a touchscreen solution that will be accessed on a horizontal plane (a touchscreen table, or a kiosk with a low axis point), or a vertical plane (a touchscreen wall or a self-standing kiosk)? When thinking through whether you want a Table or a Wall solution, ask yourself: is this activation for one person, or for several? Do I need one touchscreen within the Table or Wall, or several? Does my customer need privacy, or is this a public-facing application?
Pricing for each of these varies. If you are looking at a single-panel wall, this is likely to be one of our lowest cost solutions. A multi-panel wall increases the complexity of the touchscreen application, and so increases cost. As for touchscreen tables - one of our standard touchscreen tables starts with an MSRP as low as $5,000, but if you are looking for a custom touchscreen table design, this will add cost to the project. How much you want to deviate from our standard design will dictate the costs here.
Optical vs. Projected Capacitive (or, type of touch technology)
Optical and Projected Capacitive touch are two different types of touch technology.
Optical touchscreen technology utilizes a frame that borders the touchscreen. The frame holds touch sensors that can detect when something (a finger) crosses the vertical axis, thus registering a ‘touch’ reaction on the actual touchscreen. Optical sensors are highly economical when looking at Interactive touchscreen Walls, especially our signature Multipanel Walls.
Projected Capacitive touch technology (also known as PCT or PCap) registers physical touch. We prefer to use PCap touch in our touchscreen tables because this allows our tables to have a flush surface - there is no space gap between the sensor and the actual touchscreen. (In Walls, this gap is not as obvious to the user.) PCap is also more durable and more accurate - this technology can differentiate between the tap of a finger and a beverage glass set on top of the screen. This makes projected capacitive technology ideal for high traffic areas and tables, especially in hospitality or public venues, where food and drink can come into the mix.
While we offer competitive pricing on all of our hardware, there is no requirement to purchase our hardware in order to use our software. If you prefer to use existing hardware, contact us to talk about integrating our software.
SOFTWARE
Software is the "secret sauce" to an interactive touchscreen experience. It's what brings the touchscreens to life. From the core functionality to the look and feel of the user interface, software drives it all.
As with hardware, we offer a host of standard software options along with various levels of customization to meet your needs. Our patented software is designed for multitouch, multiuser, and multiapplication use - enabling multiple people to simultaneously share and operate across the T1V Interactive Platform for more connected, digitalized, and engaging experiences.
Software pricing is based on the following factors:
Standard vs. Custom applications
We offer a variety of standard software features and applications ideal for different settings including (but not limited to) enterprise, education, retail, and entertainment. All of our standard options come with skin customization—the look and feel of your user interface—for an affordable price.
Popular Touchscreen Software applications include:
- ThinkHub - the BYOD collaboration app that allows multiple users to plan, strategize, organize, and problem solve.
- ViewHub - the BYOD collaboration hub that enables users to share content wirelessly from device screens onto a single monitor for seamless group meetings.
- OneShop - The endless aisle shopping application allows customers to shop your entire store from the touch of their fingertips.
- Interactive Map - A custom, geographic map with color-coded pins representing different categories.
- Interactive Timeline - Tell your brand's story with a large-scale, interactive timeline that features photos, videos, and other mixed media to represent your brand.
- Media Viewer - Categorize and display images and videos in touch-friendly galleries for visitors to flip through via touchscreen gestures.
- Presentation Viewer - Marketing literature and presentations can be hosted locally or uploaded to the device on-site via USB flash drive to view, present, and annotate.
- Digital Whiteboard - Visitors can sketch freehand using touch or stylus pen to draw lines, shapes, or enter text.

If you have a vision beyond our standard applications, that’s where custom software comes into play. Work with us to develop custom applications targeted to your audience. This includes the development of unique software modules or integration with additional software and hardware. The price of custom software is determined by how many hours our software team expects to spend on your project.
Our standard multitouch software applications vary between applications. ThinkHub, our BYOD collaboration software starts at $6,000, while a standard inTouch Trade Show Skin starts at just $2,200. Or, consider our anonymous video analytics software, VisoMetrics, which starts at just $299.
Graphics
Will you be providing your own graphics or would you like us to provide them for you? Our talented creative team is happy to meet with you to discuss your vision and bring it to life. Custom graphics is priced based on the time and resources required for such a project.
For both graphics and applications, custom software can be expensive. But the more units you buy with your customized software, the more affordable it becomes. If you’re planning to purchase a single touchscreen for your startup, it might be best to stick to the standard software we have to offer. However, if you plan on including multiple installations, customization could be beneficial to look into. In short, the more T1V products you purchase to run your software, the more economical customization becomes.
VOLUME
The last factor that goes into the pricing is volume. The higher the volume, the lower the cost per piece. If you were to outfit multiple locations with the same customized hardware and software, the cost per piece would be comparable with standard software and hardware. If you only have one location, standard software and hardware would be the more affordable option.
SO HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT TO PAY?
Hardware + Software + Volume = Price.
We wish we could give you hard numbers here, but the truth is our products are so varied it would be impossible to list them all. With customization, the options are limitless.
