Just as ThinkHub collaboration software can be used across the sports industry for a variety of purposes - from creating and presenting plays, to managing student athletes and more - ThinkHub can also be used for highly sensitive, “pressure-cooking,” real-time sports drafts.
Watch T1V Application Engineer Josh Strecker take us through how ThinkHub powers draft rooms - whether it’s for draft prep or for your next big draft day in the latest T1V in 3.
Draft prep
When preparing for the draft, coaches use ThinkHub for all of the significant player data as they scout athletes who are eligible for the draft.
Use the ThinkHub Groups tool to visualize massive amounts of athlete data - like player strengths, weaknesses, stats and film. You can even integrate hardline inputs into your ThinkHub setup to make watching game film easier than ever.
In addition to being able to engage and annotate with draft content on ThinkHub’s interactive Canvas in the physical draft room, remote participants can also connect to the same secure ThinkHub Session from anywhere in the world with the T1V app.
Imagine you’re holding a draft in San Francisco - but your team is associated with a scout in Europe evaluating players across the globe. That scout does not have to be in the draft room in San Francisco - instead, they can instead connect to the ThinkHub Canvas, view and share content remotely - so they can be just as engaged as the draft participants in the meeting room.
Draft day
Once your coaching staff has everything prepared in ThinkHub for the draft, everyone is ready for the main event - draft day. To start, open your saved ThinkHub Canvas with your draft prep - navigate to a different area of the interactive Canvas for a fresh section of the board. Here, you’ll still have access to all of your player data close by, but also have the ability to constantly add and share new content throughout the draft on this massive digital workspace.
Athletic staff may review the draft order or athletes in the queue for the next pick. Easily drop in photos of or stats of the players to pick. Continue to utilize the ThinkHub Groups function to keep track of players by moving their photo from Group to Group on the board - like dragging and dropping a player photo from ‘Next Pick’ to ‘Rostered.’
What’s more, coaches can review different trade scenarios with other teams or sports agents on the ThinkHub Canvas with baked in video conferencing integration. Talk to agents face-to-face video conferencing over BlueJeans, Webex, MS Teams, or Zoom, all while analyzing the latest draft stats.
