T1V is a visual collaboration software company specializing in multitouch, multiuser applications for enterprise, active learning, and interactive environments. The company’s ThinkHub collaboration software features BYOD (bring your own device) technology, designed to support the many devices, programs and platforms of today’s workforce. T1V’s suite of collaboration software represents total solutions that are replacing much of the hardware we equate meeting room and classroom technology with today. That’s the gist.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Select, validate, and qualify AV hardware components for use with T1V platforms.
  • Research and test new hardware technology to implement in multi-touch AV systems.
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team to solve problems and create innovative solutions.
  • Qualify new equipment to be used for special projects using scientific methods and internal specifications.
  • Work with Customer Support team and Project Managers to find solutions for customer issues.
  • Communicate with third party vendors to work through problems and design custom solutions for products.
  • Update in-house documentation with appropriate technical specifications and procedures.
  • Develop custom scripts based on the needs of remote support and quality assurance of outgoing products.
  • Travel to customer sites when necessary to help with installation and commissioning of custom solutions, and train the customer if needed.

Here's what you'll be like:

  • Be passionate about the interactive space and T1V products.
  • Be a self motivated and problem solver.
  • Have Mac, Linux, Windows experience.
  • AV hardware experience (audio, video, video conferencing, room controls).

As a bonus, you’ll also:

  • Have touch screen experience.
  • Understanding mac OS logging and debugging.
  • Have smarts, humility, and equal willingness to teach and learn.

You will work directly with the CTO, Applications Engineers, and VP of Operations and your success at T1V will be measured by displaying the above qualities and fulfilling key responsibilities to the satisfaction of all the teams you support.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. As an added perk, bonuses and stock options are awarded based on performance.
