Back to School: How Classroom Technology Is Changing Higher Education

There’s something about the start of a new school year that makes every classroom feel like a fresh start.

New students. New professors. New courses. New ideas.

But the technology students and faculty return to isn’t necessarily the same technology they left behind.

Higher education has changed quickly over the last few years. Classrooms have become more connected, more flexible, and increasingly designed around the way people actually learn and work together. Professors are bringing more digital content into their teaching. Students expect technology to be part of the learning experience. And universities are thinking beyond the traditional lecture hall when they design learning environments.

The classroom is becoming less about where information is delivered and more about how people interact with it.

What are professors seeing in the classroom?
