The Lawrence J. Ellison Institute for Transformative Medicine of USC combines interdisciplinary research with the prevention and treatment of cancer. The Ellison Institute sought to leverage collaboration within the five-story building and between expert scientists, physicians, and thought leaders from around the world to propel vital cancer research initiatives.
The Ellison Institute’s research focuses on the application of proteomics (the study of the body’s proteins) and genomics, mathematical modeling, integrating clinical trials, pre-clinical studies and molecularly targeted therapy, which focuses on molecular and cellular changes specific to cancer.
ThinkHub MultiSite collaboration software is featured in conference rooms, labs, huddle spaces, and more for a seamless experience throughout the building. Each ThinkHub display shares a virtual connection for room-to-room and floor-to-floor connectivity.
Some of the greatest minds in medicine now collaborate together using 25 ThinkHub MultiSite systems across all five interactive floors to surmount hurdles that have been plaguing researchers and physicians for years.
