Background
Notre Dame Seishin University is a private women's university based in Okayama, Japan. The year 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the arrival of six sisters from the United States of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, the university's founding organization, in Okayama. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sisters' arrival in Japan, two new faculties were opened this spring and a new academic building, Trinity Hall, was completed. "Trinity" means three persons in one in Japanese, and here it expresses "true unity, close fellowship, and deep joy."
