Last week we were invited, along with nine of our interactive inTouch™ Tables, to join The Cowfish as they announced their plans for their newest location in Universal CityWalk. Universal CityWalk is home to some of the most innovative and exciting restaurant concepts around. To celebrate The Cowfish's new location, along with a few other big names coming to CityWalk, Universal Orlando invited over 300 members of the press for a preview night.
That's where we come in...
Since the restaurant isn't quite finished yet (they are opening later this summer), The Cowfish wanted to give the press audience a taste of the interactive component of the restaurant using T1Visions' Build-A-Fish app, a piece of custom touchscreen software The Cowfish uses at its existing locations in Charlotte and Raleigh. Customers at The Cowfish are able to design their own fish on the touchscreens, and then share the fish to the digital fishtank. It's a fun way to keep people engaged with the brand while they are in the restaurant - and it's a great way for families to entertain themselves.
The Cowfish Orlando will be their third and biggest location yet. We've partnered with The Cowfish to provide a variety of interactive solutions - including inTouch Interactive Tables, inTouch Interactive Walls, QVue™ Mobile Waitlist App, and even a virtual fish tank.
While the Orlando location will have touchscreens flush-mounted into its sushi bar and throughout the interior, we staged what the experience will feel like by positioning three inTouch Portable tables at every virtual fish tank display. There were three virtual fish tank displays, bringing the total inTouch Table count to nine.
Here is a roundup of some of the comments and coverage The Cowfish got over the course of the preview event, along with some pictures!
That's all we'll show you for now...you'll have to stay tuned for images of the finished product later this summer. Be sure to follow us on twitter for updates!
