2019 proved to be a busy and exciting year for T1V! There is never a dull moment when it comes to developing, educating and supporting the latest advances in our collaboration software around the globe. From making our debut at the world’s largest international AV systems integration show to the launch of our latest product, HubVC - 2019 determined T1V truly is one of the Best Places to Work.
ISE
T1V kicked off the year with its exhibitor debut at Integrated Systems Europe 2019 at the RAI Amsterdam. One of the new products showcased at ISE was ThinkHub xCanvas - which extends the standard ThinkHub experience beyond a single display to multiple displays distributed throughout a room.
ALTT
February wrapped up with the inaugural Active Learning Technology Tour (ALTT) at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where T1V awarded an active learning grant to thought leaders from 12 different Universities. ALTT spanned two days and exposed participants to Texas A&M University’s new Zachry Engineering Education Complex, one of the largest active learning technology deployments in the country.
Release of ThinkHub 4.5
The release of ThinkHub 4.5 in March of 2019 expanded new features and add-on modules that continued to drive the ThinkHub core product forward. Some of ThinkHub 4.5’s highlights included ThinkHub Groups™, ThinkHub Virtual AV Matrix, and ‘Video Conference Mode.’
Enterprise Connect
We started out the spring in Orlando, FL where T1V exhibited at Enterprise Connect and the team demoed ThinkHub MultiSite. This add-on module to ThinkHub provides real-time, room-to-room collaboration for up to 10 office locations at a time.
Top 10 Collaboration Spaces Open House Event
In April, we hosted an Open House event at T1V Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. The interactive lunch and learn featured a presentation that explained how to identify and define the top interactive spaces in today’s business and education communities. The event continued with an informative panel discussion about the challenges and trends in 2019’s collaborative spaces with collaboration space examples from Wake Forest University.
InfoComm
T1V had a blast at InfoComm 2019 at the Orange County Convention Center in June - where we showcased full-featured ThinkHub collaboration and ThinkHub Connect active learning software. We came, we saw, we demoed - and even ran the AVIXA 5K to finish off a busy week!
Release of ThinkHub 4.6
T1V released ThinkHub 4.6 in the heat of the summer, which introduced ThinkHub SmartGrids™, ThinkHub MultiSite Video Conferencing, ThinkHub MultiSite Sync, and ThinkHub Agile Templates. ThinkHub MultiSite Sync is another feature developed for the MultiSite customer base, now enabling sites to ‘lead’ MultiSite sessions by inviting other locations to sync with their current view.
Wallapalooza Tour
T1V hosted Leyard & Planar's Video Wallapalooza Charlotte event at T1V HQ. The two-day event jump started the entire 14 city Wallapalooza tour, where T1V showcased our software to end users, integrators, and partners.
Duke Karsh Alumni and Visitors Center Grand Opening
The grand opening of Duke University’s Karsh Alumni and Visitors Center in Durham, North Carolina in September featured T1V Suite on several interactive touchscreen displays designed to transform and personalize the visitor experience. As the newest building on Duke University’s campus, the Karsh Alumni and Visitors Center uses state-of-the-art technology to provide visitors with a one-of-a-kind digital experience, all powered by T1V interactive software.
HubVC Launch
In October, T1V’s latest product, HubVC officially launched! HubVc is a simple collaboration board where teams can wirelessly share devices, whiteboard, and video conference - all at the same time. The launch happened over live videocast with rAVe Pub's Gary Kayye showcasing our latest collaboration board from T1V Headquarters. HubVC allows for one-touch launching of a Zoom Room, a Microsoft Teams or a Webex Meetings call.
Charlotte Business Journal’s 2019 Best Places to Work
The year capped off with T1V landing a spot on the coveted 2019 Best Places to Work list by the Charlotte Business Journal. The relocation of our company headquarters to accommodate T1V’s rapid growth helped T1V to increase employee engagement. Just like our collaboration software, developing a collaborative environment is what T1V does best.
Thank you for your continued support of T1V in 2019. Cheers to a happy, healthy and productive new year in 2020!
