T1V is proud to have been a Silver Sponsor of the 2019 Texas A&M University System Tech Summit on February 24 - 27, 2019. Tech Summit provides a space to learn from technology experts, discuss challenges and exchange ideas with individuals across industries and institutions.
On display at Tech Summit was ThinkHub Connect active learning technology. ThinkHub Connect supports a variety of learning and teaching styles in the classroom. Not only is the the software designed to give instructors a powerful presentation tool, it enables them to monitor and provide feedback to students in real time. ThinkHub Connect also enhances the learning environment by supporting collaboration between students in remote locations and allows easy content sharing from off-site locations.
Most exciting at Tech Summit 2019, T1V got the opportunity to present with Mark Henry, Texas A&M Senior IT Professional, and Ed Pierson, CIO and Director of IT - both from the College of Engineering.
The presentation, entitled, “Designing the Active Learning Studio: How the Zachry Complex Became One of the World’s Most State-of-the-Art Buildings for Active Learning Technology,” explored the cutting edge active learning technology deployed in the Zachry Engineering Education Complex, and exactly how it engages students and fosters teamwork, resulting in higher student participation in the classroom.
