To begin, use your BYOD smartphone, tablet or laptop to join a scheduled ThinkHub Session or start a new ThinkHub Session. Check out this article for step-by-step instructions on how to join a ThinkHub Session with AirConnect.
You will enter the Session in ‘View’ mode, but be sure to change your mode to ‘Control’ mode so that you can interact with all of ThinkHub’s tools and interact with the content. These modes can be found on the left hand side of your AirConnect App.
To import the Google Doc that you would like to edit in ThinkHub, first pull up your Google Doc in your web browser on your device and click the ‘Share’ button in the upper right hand corner, as you would share with any email or person in your organization.
When the ‘Share’ window is open, be sure to change the permissions of the document so that “Anyone on the Internet with this link can edit”. Copy the link.
Return to your AirConnect view of the ThinkHub Session.
On the left hand side of your ThinkHub Canvas, there will be a row of Canvas Tools, select ‘Send URL’ and paste your Google Doc link in the text box. Then click ‘Send URL’ to open your Google Doc in your ThinkHub Session.
Once your Google Doc is visible on your ThinkHub Canvas. Feel free to pinch-zoom the Google Doc for an easier view. You can now work within your Google Doc as you normally would to update content in real time.
Any participants within the ThinkHub Session can also work on the Google Doc and update content live. If you would like your participants to only view the Google Doc and not edit, be sure to change your Google Doc permissions to “Anyone on the Internet with this link can view” from the previous step.
