This Week at T1V explore the innovation and creativity happening in the JMU X-Labs at James Madison University.
JMU X-Labs is a multi-disciplinary, multimedia learning and collaboration space created for the students of the university to nurture a culture of creativity with an assortment of classes, performances, workshops, and more.
ThinkHub collaboration software helps foster this innovation and creativity by powering a variety of disciplines: healthcare, robotics, software hacking, performing arts, esports, and more.
Explore the JMU X-Labs Case Study, catch up on the blog, and check out some of our upcoming learning opportunities.
Happy Collaborating! 🧡
At JMU X-Labs, ThinkHub collaboration software is running on Epson projection technology — creating an interactive touch wall that is extremely cost-effective. The technology powers a range of disciplines, including:
- Esports - Students organize matchups and manage tournaments right on the ThinkHub Canvas to broadcast gaming and set up dashboards to track points and playoffs for an immersive esports arena.
- Visual and Performing Arts - Students bring theater and dance into this technology-powered space and interact with the ThinkHub Canvas during performances, utilize cameras in the room for infinity views, and even put on hybrid productions combining in-room and remote performances.
