By now you may have heard of ThinkHub — our visual collaboration software for global teams. We’ve explained to you the ins and outs, deep dived into our favorite use cases, and showed you how our customers are using ThinkHub in their day-to-day workflows.
This is our quick elevator pitch on ThinkHub. Think high-level — the standout features that truly differentiate ThinkHub in the visual collaboration space.
In this T1V in 3, T1V Sales Operations Pedro Faria lays down the basics of ThinkHub:
Calendar and Video Conferencing Integration with ThinkHub
Easily link your email calendar to your ThinkHub by creating a shared ‘room’ for your ThinkHub device within your Outlook or Google Calendar. Add your ThinkHub Room to any calendar meeting to instantly start collaborating on a ThinkHub Canvas during your meeting whether you are in-room or remote by connecting to the same Canvas via the T1V app.
Combine your favorite video conferencing application alongside calendar integration. With one-tap-to-start, launch the VC app and open the ThinkHub Canvas at the same time in a single button. Or start a spontaneous VC session while working on a ThinkHub Canvas outside of a scheduled meeting time.
ThinkHub supports:
- Zoom
- Webex
- MS Teams
- BlueJeans
Collaborate Using ThinkHub’s Built-in Apps
ThinkHub’s built-in applications are the meat and potatoes of ThinkHub. Located in the Canvas Tray at the bottom of your ThinkHub Canvas — access Notes, Sketches, Web Browsers, and Groups.
- Notes - think of this as your typical office sticky note, but digital. You can customize the color of your font and background. Type in your Note with the built-in keyboard, a USB keyboard, or wirelessly from your laptop (using T1V app) - making it easy for collaborators to send notes to the Canvas from anywhere.
- Sketches - the whiteboarding tool. This allows you to digitally sketch out an idea, jot down a list, and much more...with the ability to save / snapshot / share anything you create.
- Web Browsers - open the Web Browser app to type in a specific URL or do a quick Google search. This app acts the same as the web browsers on your laptops and mobile devices, and you use this tool to access any web-based content like Google Drive, O365, YouTube, and more….
- Groups - the organization tool. Use Groups to organize different types of content, label your Group, and customize the color. As you move these Groups across the ThinkHub Canvas, every piece of content associated with that Group will move with it.
Advanced Content Sharing with ThinkHub
Each piece of content on the ThinkHub Canvas has a tool set of their own. Whether that is one of the built-in apps or a file, image, URL, etc. shared to the Canvas — tap on that piece of content to view the content menu. Within this menu you can annotate, take a snapshot, enter full screen, or share the content to any email address.
ThinkHub supports your file-based media - including images, videos, and PDFs.These files can be added and organized using an FTP server, network drive, or with a USB flash drive.
ThinkHub also supports an array of devices. Whether sharing content via hardline inputs — like an Apple TV or in-room computer, IP cameras, or any wirelessly connected personal devices like laptops, tablets and mobile devices via the T1V app.
Use the T1V App to Collaborate With ThinkHub from Anywhere
Collaborate from anywhere using the T1V app. This free application is the bridge that connects your global teams to any ThinkHub Canvas, so that everyone can stay on the same page. Use the ThinkHub Room ID and Passcode in the top corner of the ThinkHub Canvas for a secure connection. The T1V app credentials will change with every new Canvas opened.
The T1V app allows hybrid teams to collaborate on the ThinkHub Canvas as if they are in the same room — from sharing their device screen and pieces of content directly to the Canvas to controlling the Canvas and those shared pieces of content — the app allows a completely synchronous collaboration session to occur wherever you are.
Use ThinkHub for Meeting Persistence
At the end of the meeting, save your ThinkHub Canvas to resume at a later date. You can also download your Canvas as a .t1vx file to be opened and shared to a different ThinkHub Room. Finally, you can email the Canvas to all meeting participants as a PDF for review at the close of the session. In short, there are many ways ThinkHub enables persistence from meeting to meeting.
There you have it, the basics of ThinkHub: calendar and VC integration, built-in apps, advanced content sharing, T1V app for hybrid teams, and save your Canvas for meeting persistence. This is just the tip of the iceberg for how ThinkHub can empower hybrid teams with stronger collaboration sessions.
